I once read a twisted version of the legend of King Arthur which used the phrase 'like a fox eating s**t out of a wire brush' or something similar, and was very dark and dirty. I cant for the life of me recall the title...does it ring any bells? I have never forgotten that phrase, but I would like to reread the book itself and I cant remember anything else about it.
